Getting started

Babbla is an internal chat in wp-admin for the people who run the store, with an optional assistant that answers store questions.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.2 or later
  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • WooCommerce 7.0 or later

Install

  1. Install WooCommerce 7.0 or later.
  2. Upload the egenverk-babbla folder to wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip from Plugins → Add New.
  3. Activate Egenverk Babbla. The chat icon appears in the admin bar.

First step

Open the chat from the icon in the admin bar. Colleagues talk in rooms and direct messages without leaving wp-admin.

The assistant is off until you enter an API key. Add the API key in Babbla's settings. From then on each question to the assistant is sent, with the recent history of the conversation and the tool results, to the provider you chose.
